Green Bay opened the scoring with their only goal of the night at the 5:34 mark of the first period.

Phil Kemp (Greenwich, Conn.) responded at the 11:01 mark of the first period after burying a one-timer on a cross-ice pass from Randy Hernandez (Miami, Fla.). Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) also picked up an assist on the play.

Team USA scored the game-winning goal two minutes later when Sean Dhooghe (Aurora, Ill.) tapped in a rebound off a Brady Tkachuk (St. Louis, Mo.) shot.

The U18s extended their lead thanks to a Josh Norris (Oxford, Mich.) shorthanded goal at the 3:46 mark of the second period. Goaltender, Dylan St. Cyr (Northville, Mich.) picked up his fifth assist of the season after lofting a pass from the goal line to Tkachuk, who sent the puck to Norris.

Grant Mismash (Edina, Minn.) added another for Team USA from right face-off circle at the 10:52 mark of the third period.

Tkachuk sealed the game for the U18s sending the puck over the shoulder of Green Bay goaltender, David Hrenak, from the goal line on the power play. Nate Knoepke (Farmington, Minn.) and Tyler Inamoto (Barrington, Ill.) picked up assists on the play.

St. Cyr ended the game with 24 saves, while Green Bay goaltender, David Hrenak recorded 36 saves.
