Teams Howe and LeClair Set for 2016 AAPG

USA Hockey's NTDP Coaches Wroblewski, Fohr Tabbed Assistants

USA Hockey announced today the Team Howe and Team LeClair rosters for the fifth annual CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game that will take place September 22, 2016, in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center, home of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers.

U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame members and former Philadelphia Flyers Mark Howe (Detroit, Mich.) and John LeClair (St. Albans, Vt.) will each coach a team in the event, which will feature 42 of the top American-born prospects eligible for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

The game will include two players from Pennsylvania, Evan Barratt (Morrisville, Pa.) and Josh Maniscalco (Perkiomenville, Pa.), as well as four players from the tri-state area, including Logan Hutsko (North Caldwell, N.J.), Phil Kemp (Greenwich, Conn.), Kyle MacLean (Basking Ridge, N.J.) and Cayden Primeau (Voorhees, N.J.).

WROBLEWSKI, FOHR TABBED ASSISTANT COACHES

USA Hockey also announced today that John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.), head coach for USA Hockey's National Team Development Program Under-18 Team, will serve as an assistant to Howe, while Nick Fohr (Grand Forks, N.D.), assistant coach for USA Hockey's NTDP Under-18 Team, will serve as LeClair's assistant coach. Wroblewski, entering his first year as the head coach of the U.S. National Under-18 Team, will serve as an assistant coach at the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game for the first time. Fohr, who begins his sixth season as an assistant coach for USA Hockey's NTDP, will be an assistant coach at the CCM/USA Hockey ALl-American Prospects Game for the third time after fulfilling the role at the 2012 and 2014 events.

Players selected to compete in the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game were chosen by USA Hockey in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting … Thirty-five players are on the 2016-17 NHL Central Scouting Futures List, which highlights players that have potential to be selected in the first three rounds of the draft … To date, 102 players who have participated in the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects have gone on to be selected in the NHL Entry Draft, including 25 first-round selections ... CCM-designed uniforms will be unveiled in mid-September … Previous host sites for the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game include Buffalo, New York (2012, 2014, 2015) and Pittsburgh (2013).
