Kris Nolt Named Manager of Communications for USA Hockey's National Team Development Program and USA Hockey Arena

Will oversee communications efforts, including media relations, for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, as well as USA Hockey Arena.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Kris Nolt (Lancaster, Pa.) has been named manager of communications for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program and USA Hockey Arena it was announced today by USA Hockey.

Nolt, who spent the last two years as public relations and marketing manager at Lancaster (Pa.) Catholic High School, will oversee communications efforts, including media relations, for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, as well as USA Hockey Arena.

With Lancaster Catholic High School, Nolt was responsible for developing marketing and communication strategies for prospective and current students and parents, donors and alumni.

He also was a communications and marketing consultant, providing freelance services in the areas of website design, graphic design and social media campaign management.

Prior to his arrival at Lancaster Catholic, Nolt served as a sports information assistant at Union College, where he was a secondary media contact for the 2014 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey national championship team and managed all social media activities. In addition, he served as the primary media contact for 12 NCAA Division III teams at Union. Nolt also spent a year as a media relations intern with the Robert Morris University athletic media relations department.

A 2013 graduate of Slippery Rock (Pa.) University, Nolt earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management. 

He will begin his duties with USA Hockey on July 25.
