GAMEDAY: U.S. Faces Finland in Men's Worlds Tuneup

HELSINKI -- The 2016 U.S. Men's National Team takes on Finland here tonight in its only exhibition game ahead of the 2016 IIHF Men's World Championship.

Keith Kinkaid will get the start in goal, although U.S. Head Coach John Hynes is likely to play more than one netminder.

All members of Team USA arrived in Helsinki on Sunday, except for Nick Foligno, who arrived this morning and will play tonight.

Luke Glendening, who was initially named to the team, returned to the U.S. yesterday and will not be able to play due to health reasons.

Team USA opens tournament play against Canada on May 6 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

NOTES: Dale Tallon, a member of the U.S. Men's National Team Advisory Group which is responsible for selecting players and staff for the U.S. Men's National Team, is in Helsinki with Team USA ... Team USA's average age is 23, the youngest since at least 2003 ... As of yesterday, more than 10,000 tickets had been sold for tonight's game (capacity is approximately 13,400). Finland's U18 Men's National Team, which recently won the gold medal in the IIHF U18 Men's World Championship in Grand Forks, North Dakota, will be honored in tonight's first intermission.
