Jersey for USA at World Cup of Hockey Unveiled

First 16 on U.S. Roster Also Released

The jersey that the U.S. will wear during the 2016 World Cup of Hockey was unveiled today as part of a series of announcements pertaining to the event. 

The first 16 players named to the U.S. team were announced this evening exclusively on ESPN’s SportsCenter. To view the first 16 players named to the roster, click here.

Each of the eight participating teams in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey was required to name at least 16 players today, including a minimum of two goaltenders. The event takes place Sept. 17-Oct. 1 in Toronto, Ontario and will feature the U.S., Canada, Czech Republic, Europe, Finland, North America, Russia and Sweden.
