Sled Hockey Development Grant

USA Hockey is proud to announce that through its expanded partnership with Labatt Blue and their “Pass It Forward” initiative, 8 new sled hockey programs will be the beneficiary of allocated funds designed to expand the sport’s growth in the U.S. Labatt wants to change the game for the better and will launch a retail promotion this fall with specially-marked sled hockey cans/packs of Labatt Blue and Labatt Blue Light highlighting the initiative to provide access to hockey for everyone. The funds that Labatt raises will be used to award 8 sled hockey programs a grant worth $25,000. The grant will include funds for sleds, sticks, ice time, uniforms, airfare and lodging to the 2016 Disabled Hockey Workshop as well as general funds to be used by the sled hockey program.

The grant is open to any new or recently created sled hockey program in the U.S.

To apply for the grant, download the grant application form below, complete the downloaded form, save it and submit it via email to DisabledHockey@usahockey.org. You may also submit a short 3-5 minute video demonstrating why your program should receive the grant.

Applications must be submitted by Midnight PDT on October 9, 2015.   Winners will be selected by a committee and contacted via email by October 23, 2015.
