PLYMOUTH, Mich. - USA Hockey announced today that Jeremiah Crowe has been named assistant director of player personnel and Greg Moore intern assistant coach at USA Hockey's National Team Development Program.

Prior to joining the NTDP, Crowe was a coach for the Academy of Hockey at HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, New York. There, he helped implement training and development curriculums for all positions and skill levels, as well as lead coaching education programs to accelerate youth player development. At the same time, Crowe also served as a scout for the United States Hockey League’s Dubuque Fighting Saints.

Previously, Crowe spent three seasons (2011-14) as an assistant coach, focusing on defense and special teams, for the Buffalo State College men’s ice hockey program. His duties also included recruiting prospective U.S.-born players and serving as the initial point of contact.

In 2008, he completed a professional scouting internship with the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres.

Crowe received his master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius College in 2013. He graduated from Clarkson University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business, where he was also a member of the Division I men’s ice hockey team.

Moore will spend the 2015-16 season helping guide the U.S. National Under-17 Team led by head coach Don Granato and assistant Nick Fohr.

Moore, who played for the NTDP from 2000-02, spent the last decade playing professionally, including the 2014-15 season with the Deutsche Eishockey Liga’s Augsburg Panthers.

Moore's NTDP playing career was highlighted by helping the U.S. earn gold at the 2002 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Men's World Championship. He also helped the U.S. National Under-17 Team claim the World Under-17 Challenge title his first year with the program in 2001.

Following his time at the NTDP, Moore played four seasons (2002-06) for the University of Maine men’s ice hockey team. He helped the Black Bears to Frozen Four appearances in 2003 and 2004, including a run to the championship game in 2004. Moore served as captain his senior season, a campaign in which he was a top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, earned All-American First Team laurels and was selected to the Hockey East First Team.

Moore was also a member of the first U.S. National Junior Team to earn gold in the IIHF World Junior Championship in 2004.
