Scoring In Bunches: A pair of Team Columbia Blue players had breakout offensive performances on day two. Daniel Kramer and Jonathan Bendorf both scored hat tricks in Columbia Blue’s 7-2 win over Team White. Bendorf (5 points) is tied for the tournament scoring lead along with his teammate Jacob McGrew.
Great Goaltending: For the second consecutive day, goaltenders stole the show, with five posting shutouts. Gabriel Vinal (Team Royal) led the way with 20 saves for his second straight shutout. Joseph Lamoreaux (Team Kelly) withstood all of his challenges to remain perfect through two games in the tournament, and Kyle Keyser (Team Columbia Blue), Mitchell Gibson (Team Orange) and Cayden Primeau (Team Gold) stopped all shots they faced Thursday.
