Team Black, Team Gold claim division titles

Race To The Finish: The race for first place went down to the wire on the last day of tournament play. With a balanced win over Team White, Team Black laid claim to the American division title, losing only one of its five games. Team Kelly Green had its eyes on the top spot but its furious comeback attempt came up just short in the tournament finale against Team Red. Team Green finished second in the American division. Team Gold claimed the top spot in the National division thanks to a three-game winning streak at the tournament’s start. Gold edged Team Gray on a tiebreaker due to a better goal differential.

Scoring Race: Garrett Wait claimed the scoring title through the tournament portion of camp. Wait notched nine points, while Patrick Harper, Drake Rymsha, Collin Adams and Eric Esposito are tied for second with eight.

Camp Standouts Wrap The Week: This year’s camp came to a close Wednesday with a 10 a.m. all-star game featuring camp’s standouts.

Did You Know: Luke McInnis’s (Team Gold) father Marty played 11 seasons in the NHL, scoring 420 points in 796 games. Marty is currently an assistant coach at Boston College and helped the Eagles win the 2014 Beanpot Tournament.
