Bauer Issues Goalie Wire Recall

The products were sold to consumers from April 2013 through February 2015.

On March 31, 2015, in cooperation with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) and Health Canada, Bauer Hockey announced a voluntary recall of the following products:

  • NME 10 Goal Mask with Certified Titanium Oval Wire (1043720)
  • CONCEPT C1 Goalie Mask with Certified Titanium Oval Wire (1041615)
  • RP NME Ti Titanium Cage (1042705)

The titanium wire on the cages may break, resulting in potential facial impact or laceration injuries.  The products were sold to consumers from April 2013 through February 2015.  Consumers should IMMEDIATELY STOP USING these cages and contact Bauer Hockey for a replacement cage at (844) 448-4246 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or e-mail titaniumrecall@bauer.com.

No other goalie or player masks are involved in this voluntary recall.
