Ten winners each earned $2,500 by encouraging their supporters to take the Pledge to Promote Good Sportsmanship.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Play Positive™ is excited to announce the 10 winners of the Winter Pledge season who each earned $2,500 by encouraging their supporters to take the Pledge to Promote Good Sportsmanship.

The winners of the Winter Pledge season represent a wide range of youth sports – soccer, baseball, softball, ice skating, football, basketball and wrestling. They come from all parts of the US – California, Utah and New York just to name a few.

To earn a top spot in the Pledge program, the winners of the Winter Pledge season used a variety of methods to recruit supporters to take the Pledge including using social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, distributing flyers and using the Email It! tool in their Pledge administrator dashboard to email their contacts. One organization set up a laptop for supporters to take the Pledge at an onsite event and others offered prizes like a movie and popcorn party.

The enthusiasm these organizations showed for the Pledge to Support Good Sportsmanship program was nothing less than impressive.  As one administrator stated, “We think that Play Positive is an amazing program that unites an organization and allows everyone to come together for a common goal. It promotes not only good sportsmanship but a positive attitude!”

What do the winners of the Winter Pledge season plan to do with their $2,500 earnings?  Replace old sports equipment with new sports equipment!  Offset travel costs so teams can participate in tournaments.  Purchase new uniforms. Use the earnings towards a new field!  Plus much more.
