COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team begins its 2014-15 campaign at the 2015 World Sled Hockey Challenge in Leduc, Alberta, Feb. 1-7. In addition to the United States, the tournament includes Canada, Korea and Russia.
Team USA has won four of the last five major international events, including the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia; the 2012 International Paralympic Committee Sled Hockey World Championship in Hamar, Norway; the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia; and the 2009 IPC Sled Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
The United States roster is highlighted by captain Josh Sweeney (Phoenix, Ariz.); alternate captains Nikko Landeros (Johnstown, Colo.) and Josh Pauls (Green Brook, N.J.); and goaltender Steve Cash (Overland, Mo.). For the complete U.S. roster, click here.
