GAMEDAY: Team USA Faces Canada in Final

The U.S. will face Canada in the championship game at 7 p.m. (local) tonight at the Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia.

The US. and Canada have met 15 times in the championship game at the Four Nations Cup. The U.S. is 5-10 overall and has won the last two meetings (2011-12). In 2011, the U.S. won 4-3 in a  shootout and in 2012 it was a 3-0 victory.

Tonight is the second meeting between the U.S. and Canada at the 2014 Four Nations Cup. The U.S. was defeated by Canada, 3-2, in the last meeting. Team USA also has a pair of shutouts in the tournament with a 5-0 win over Finland and 3-0 victory over Sweden.

Prior to the 2014 Four Nations Cup, the last meeting between the two teams at this event took place on Nov. 6, 2013. In that game, Canada defeated the U.S., 4-2.
