U18 Gameday Preview: USA vs. Canada

The U.S. and Canada are meeting for the eighth time at the Women’s Under-18 Series. Team USA holds a 8-1-3-9 record against Canada with the last meeting taking place on Aug. 25, 2013, where Team USA won, 3-2. The U.S. has been outscored overall by Canada by a total of 63-55. 

Joel Johnson, is the head coach of the U.S. Women’s Under-18 Select Team and is assisted by Katie Lachapelle and Brent Hill. Jincy Dunne is serving as team captain and the alternate captain is Samantha Davis

Thirteen players are making their Team USA debut while eight players on the team also helped the 2014 U.S. Women’s National Under-18 Team earn a silver medal at the International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women’s World Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
