Lake Placid, N.Y. – The under-18 and 22-and-under teams focused on the importance of health and nutrition. We caught up with Nurtitionist Alicia Kendig and Team Doctor Ally Howe who discussed the roles that health and nutrition play in the development of Olympic-caliber athletes. Kendig assists players in achieving their goals by focusing on fuel and performance nutrition for optimal performance both on and off the ice and Dr. Howe emphasizes the importance of rest and recovery.
