Farmer, Sweeney Win Awards at 2014 ESPYS

Congratulations to 2014 U.S. Paralympic gold medalists Josh Sweeney and Declan Farmer for their ESPY Awards. 

Sweeney, a retired Marine, received the inaugural Pat Tillman Award for Service for his dedication to his country and helping others. He was honored Wednesday night during the 2014 ESPY Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. 

Fellow U.S. Paralympian Farmer received the Best Male Athlete with a Disability Award. Farmer tied for the Team USA lead in both goals (3) and points (5) at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games. He was selected by fans through online voting.

The ESPY (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly) is an annual award show that honors sports and athletic achievement, both on an individual and team basis.
