USA vs. Germany -- The Series

The U.S. Men’s National Team opposes Germany in its final preliminary-round game at the 2014 International Ice Hockey Federation Men’s World Championship. Already, Team USA has clinched a top-four finish in Group B, which ensures a berth into Thursday’s quarterfinals. The U.S. can finish second, third or fourth pending Tuesday's games. Russia has secured first place.

Team USA is 7-0-1-2-3 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) against Germany in the IIHF Men’s World Championship. Most recently in 2013, the U.S. notched a 3-0 victory in the preliminary round.
