BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting with the accounts payable to include employee and volunteer expense reports for USA Hockey, Inc. and USA Hockey Foundation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and check expense reports for employees and volunteers
  • Assist with the coding and reconciliation of the corporate credit card statement
  • Enter deposits and accounts payable invoices for multiple entities
  • Prepare and enter journal entries for multiple entities
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements for multiple entities
  • Assist with preparation for fiscal year end audit
  • Assist with special projects and reports, as requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree in accounting or a combination of education and work experience
  • Strong computer skills essential with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and QuickBooks
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
  • Experience and understanding of non-profit, volunteer based organizations preferred
