COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey today announced the 22-player roster for the 2013 U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team that will participate in the 2013 Women's Under-18 Series vs. Canada, Aug. 22-25 in Lake Placid., N.Y.

Highlighting the roster are seven members of the U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team that collected the silver medal this past January at the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation Women's Under-18 World Championship in Heinola, Finland, including Sydney Baldwin (Shorewood, Minn.), Taylar Cianfarano (Oswego, N.Y.), Kenzie Kent (Norwell, Mass.), Lexie Laing (Marblehead, Mass.), Maliya Rodgers (Minnetonka, Minn.), Maddie Rolfes (West Des Moines, Iowa) and Baylee Wellhausen (Williams Bay, Wis.).

In addition to Baldwin, Cianfarano, and Rolfes, Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Conn.) and Taylor Williamson (Edina, Minn.) competed for Team USA at the 2012 Women's Under-18 Series.

The U.S. will open the series on Aug. 22 at 4:00 p.m. EDT at the Olympic Center's 1980 Herb Brooks Arena. A full on-ice schedule is listed below. All three games will be carried live by FASTHockey at usahockey.fasthockey.com.

NOTES: The Under-18 Series is a three-game competition vs. Canada that began in 2007 ... The 22 players hail from 10 states, with Minnesota's seven representatives leading the group ...
