
The 8th Annual Shootout For Cancer will be held at the International Ice Arena in Romeoville, IL on Friday, February 12th At 7:00 p.m. This charity event to raise money for the fight against cancer will feature players from: Naperville North, Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley, Waubonsie Valley High Schools, along with their classmates from the Tomahawks--to fight for a common cause: a cure for cancer. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from the Shootout activities go to the DuPage Chapter of the American Cancer Society, to help fund cancer research at Illinois medical centers and to provide support services for cancer patients living right in our own community.
We can use your help in the following ways:
- Solicit donations to be raffled off at this event. (Dentist, Hairdresser, Restaurants, Oil Change, etc..)
- Donate items to be used for the silent auction or gift baskets.
- Purchase a raffle ticket for a time share week ($50 raffle ticket – tax deductible--only 100 sold for a time share at Oyster Bay Resort in St. Maarten) - see Carol Gollinger, Lisa Svoboda, Linda and John Benda, Becky Cizek, Bernadette LaCorte, or Laura McDonnell for tickets
- Purchase $5 Luminaria bags to honor loved ones who have suffered from cancer. See any of the above
- Participate in Fill the Skate Day at Jewel on Saturday Jan 30th.
