MC JV Brown wins Kennedy Cup

Exciting news!!!!! The Mount Carmel JV Brown Caravan team won their 3rd consecuitive CCHL Kennedy Cup. The Mount Carmel hockey 3 peat occurred with a powerful Kennedy Cup series. The championship game's decisive 6-1 victory over St. Ignatius in Game 2 proved that this Caravan team was strong. Mount Carmel needed only 2 games in each best of 3 Kennedy cup series to sweep their opponents.

The Caravan sweep allowed only 5 goals against for the entire seies while outscoring the opposition 17 - 5.

Tom Kurow Inducted to Hall of Fame

IHHF Mount Carmel would like to congratulate Tom Kurow on his induction into the Illinois Hockey Hall of Fame by the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois. As a coach, administrator, father, grandfather and ambassador for the game, Mr. Kurow has left a legacy on hockey throughout Illinois.
We congratulate him on this most appropriate honor.
