CDAHA Information

Greetings to All,

I trust you all had a very joyous holiday season. As we move forward into the new year our CDAHA Board of Directors has been constantly striving to improve on our hockey experience.

First and foremost I would like to welcome you to our brand new state of the art Coeur d' Alene Hockey Association website. This new site will allow us to more easily contact our membership with important updates and information. It should also make it much easier to find info such as contact information, team schedules, and keep you all updated on our association news. This new site has many tools and features which will make things much easier for you. For example on our Master Schedule page you will notice you can mark your teams box and search for anything on the CDAHA schedule pertaining to that team. Each team has it's own web page. Coaches and Team Managers can easily update team information and actually send emails to their entire team from within the web page. As many of you might have noticed much of the information on our old site is as much as four years old and very hard to update. This site is much easier to maintain than the old ! site. It will be much easier to keep this site current. I encourage you to visit our new site at www.cdahockey.com . I also encourage you to bookmark this as it is brand new and not in the common search engines as of yet. I would also like to remind you that it is still a work in progress and we are constantly updating it all the time.

Many of you took the opportunity on Monday 12/27 to participate in our Goalie/Power-skating/Skills Clinic. I am curious about what our membership would like to see at this clinic. The CDAHA Board would like to continue putting these clinics on once or twice a month in an effort to improve our players. I know of no other Association that does this for their membership and strongly believe that it can only make our players better especially our goalies. The problem with this of course is that ice is not free and we need enough participation to cover our ice costs. If you would like to give us some feedback on this feel free to email me at joeokon@cdahockey.com .

Last but not least I would like to encourage you to take a look at this link below. If you have been considering the Outdoor Hockey Classic at Avista Stadium we have a special deal for you. It is also for a very good cause as you will be helping the Rypien Foundation cure cancer!!

Thank You for helping us make this hockey season one of our best ever!

Sincerly,

 Joe Okon

CDAHA President
