• What's included and not included in the Player Fees?

    What's not included...
    All participants must be members of USA Hockey and Michigan Amateur Hockey Association.  The USA Hockey $30.00 membership fee and the Michigan Amateur Amateur Hockey member fee of $5.00 is NOT included in the player fees below and is paid directly to USA Hockey.  MAHL player fees below are paid directly to the Midland Amateur Hockey League.

    MAHL Family Volunteer Commitment Program - Mandatory
     Each MAHL family is required to complete 6 hours of volunteer time during the regular winter season. 
    To opt out of this program is $250.00 and is NOT included in the Player Fee.

    MAHL Booster Club Team Fundraiser - Mandatory
    Each MAHL family is required to participate in their respective team fundraiser during the regular winter season.
    To opt out of this program is $50.00 and is NOT included in the Player Fee.

    House Division Team Fees:
    What's included... 
    *All Ice Time-home practice ice and home game ice
    *Home game Referee costs
    * Adray Community Hockey League Registration Team fee is paid for each team
    *Team Jersey-which your player will keep at the end of the season
    *Team supplies: including pucks, score sheets, goalie equipment, and other related items  
    *District 5 entry fee for Play Offs for 1 team from Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget is paid. 
    *Any team winning the District 5 Play Offs - the entry fee for MAHA State Finals is paid. 
    *Saginaw Friendship Tournament entry fee for 1 Team from Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam divisions is paid
    *Entry in the MAHL "The JOE" - the end of the season City Championship Games
    *All Coach/Assistant Coach USA Hockey Registration fees are paid for your team's Staff. 
    *USA Hockey Coaching Education Clinic fees paid for your team's Coaching Staff when required. 
    *Ice Scheduling and Office Support for all participants and families

    Travel Division & JV High School Team fees:
    NOTE-Travel team fees are set through the budget process by the Coach & Manager of your travel team

    The MAHL Treasurer assists your Coach & Manager through the process
    If your team exceeds budget, all team members will be responsible equally for the overage and will be billed accordingly.  Likewise, if your team is under budget, all players will be credited accordingly.  The team fees will be adjusted +/- pending the submission of the team budget by your Coach/Manager.

    *Little Caesars Play Off Team entry fee
