The U.S. Women’s National Team went undefeated (4-1-0-0/W-OTWOTL-L) to claim its fourth consecutive International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship at the 2017 edition of the event in Plymouth, Michigan. The victory marked the first time a U.S. Women’s National Team claimed the gold medal on home soil as the event was held at USA Hockey Arena.
