Miami Little Toros Acheive Near Perfect Weekend The Miami Little Toros had two teams participate in the Florida Panthers Early Bird Tournament, both of those teams were finalists in their respective divisions.  The Squirt B team started off with convincing victories over the Golden Wolves and Predators outscoring them 19-4.  In the Semi-Final Game they came out hard and gained a big lead early, but the Jr. Panthers came back to tie the game late.  The Toros held on to defeat the Jr.Panthers 10-9 in Overtime.  They battled hard in the finals but came up just short in a 5-2 loss.  Coach Reilly, Timpone, and O'Neil were amazed by how the group of players came together.  The team included six mites playing in the squirt division. The Bantam A team started off with a tough opening night 3-2 loss to the Golden Wolves.  They bounced back with a victory over the Predators Black team.  The win required two goals in the last 30 seconds of the game, including the winner with .02 remaining which was the talk of the tournament.  In the Semi-Finals they defeated the Sharpshooters in another close game.  In the final the Toros lost in Double Overtime to the Predators Black.  This certainly was a great showing for the first year team.  Coach Galante, Wright, and Perkins were extremely proud of the way the boys battled with only 10 skaters.

USA Hockey Registration for 08-09 Season If you have not registered for the 2008-2009 USA Hockey Season, it is highly recommended that you do so as soon as possible.  Players will not be allowed to take to the ice after August 31st,2008 without their IMR form. Visit usahockey.com/registration to register.  After you register please e-mail a waiver or bring a copy of the form to the hockey office.  Once again no player will be allowed to participate in any on-ice activities without their waiver.  This is mandatory for all USA hockey players. NO EXCEPTIONS.

August 2008 Notes Individual Team Training Camps will be held August 15th, 16th, and 17th.  Check the training camp tab for more info.
