Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Theiler is the chief operating officer of  the U.S. Ice Rink Association, a position he has held since 2009. The U.S. Ice Rink Association is a national non-profit membership and education organization for individuals, facilities and vendors in the American ice rink industry. It was formed in 2000 as a joint venture between USA Hockey and U.S. Figure Skating.

Jeff has worked in the ice rink industry for the past 24 years, in operations and management positions, at for-profit, non-profit and municipal ice rinks in Arizona, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington. 

Jeff currently represents USA Hockey as a member of the IIHF Facilities Committee, and as a member of the USA Hockey “Look Up Line” Task Force, and the USA Hockey Rink Owners Communication group.

In addition to his ice rink industry experience, Jeff has held several youth hockey administrative positions such as board member, president and goaltending director of various youth organizations. He has also participated as a goaltender coach and evaluator during USA Hockey affiliate, district and national player development camps such as the Dave Petersen National Goaltender Camp, and Select 14 and 15 camps.
