USA Hockey and the Grand Rapids Griffins will be celebrating Hockey Weekend Across America and Hockey Day in Michigan on Saturday (Feb. 16) by holding a cross-ice jamboree at Van Andel Arena.

Without the generosity of the late W.G. Allyn, the Skaneateles Youth Hockey Association wouldn't be celebrating Hockey Weekend Across America Feb. 15-17. That's because there wouldn't be an SYHA and a Skaneateles Figure Skating Club, let alone two rinks in this central New York town on the north end of Skaneateles Lake.
