Public Skate for Friday, July 25 will be 11:40 a.m. - 1:50 p.m.
The Ice Arena will be closed at 4:00 p.m. July 26-27. There will be NO Public Skate at 8:20 p.m. on July 26.
Spring Ice Show Videos will be shipped the week of July 21.

As we get ready for the 2007-08 skating season, the staff at the Franklin Park Ice Arena welcomes you back for another year of ice sports and leisure skating activities. From relaxing public skating, to lessons for all ages and levels, to youth and adult hockey, speed skating and birthday parties, the Franklin Park Ice Arena is the place to be. With 34 years experience, you can be assured your skating needs will be our highest priority.
Congratulations to the many skaters, coaches and their families for taking first place in the 2007 Ice Skating Institute World Recreational Team Championships this summer. This is a huge accomplishment that reflects dedication and teamwork. We are proud of you!
With an interest in providing new and exciting programs for our skating families, this season we will offer more themed Let’s Skate sessions. In addition, two new special afternoon skating parties have been added in 2008.
As we venture into the new season you will notice a brighter look in both our Main and Studio Arenas. New lighting has been installed with the assistance of a grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation. This new lighting will not only brighten our facility; but is an important part of our energy conservation commitment.
Call the Ice Arena for supplemental mailings each quarter with detailed class schedules, updates and registration information. We are always eager to serve you.
