Welcome back Fossils,
A meeting of the membership has decided the following:
This year we will have a yearly membership fee of $100 and collect $5 at the rink each week. For members signing up midway through the season the membership fee will be $50.
Non members wanting to try out for the Fossils can skate two times paying $15 each time. If they pass our rigorous sessions, have a good Fossil's attitude and want to go full time, $20 will be credited to their membership.

We will try to schedule time at 6:30 or 7:00pm on Sunday evenings once the youth hockey travel season starts so that travel team parents can get back to Dubuque to play.
We will also put together some used equipment for use by new players who want to try out hockey before investing in their own equipment. So if you have some old shin pads etc that are just stinking up the garage, get on your wife's good side and bring them to the rink. We will store the equipment with youth hockey's gear.
Also if someone is interested in maintaining the website, I will gladly show them what I know.
We are always looking for new blood. So if you know someone interested in a good time, exercise and learning to improve their game, please invite them. Make them aware though that we are good time hockey and play to the level of those on the ice with us. That means allowing developing players to handle the puck and make a play; and when you have the puck, look to set them up with a pass. Passes always confuse the goalies and some of ours are easily confused.
Our first ice is Sunday September 28th at 5:15pm.
Keep your stick on the ice and look for a pass, you may be surprised.
