Congratulations to Coach Jerry Marzejon's pee wee silver team, winner of the Wisconsin Dells Tournament the weekend of October 24-26. The team went 4-0 en route to the championship trophy. Great work all!

Congratulations to Coach Scott Marinaro’s pee wee Central States Minor team which finished second in the Hockey Times Rock & Roll Cup Tournament in Cleveland, Ohio, October 10th -12th. The team of ’97 birth year skaters played a full bracket of 1996 pee wee AA teams and went 2-1-1.  |
The Leafs Pee Wee Major CS team, coached by Butch Treiber, captured its first championship banner of the 08-09 season by winning the MYHockeyRankings.Com Pre-Season Challenge Tournament on September 28. Great team play and excellent goaltending propelled the Leafs to a perfect 6-0 record during their first tournament of the season. The Leafs outscored their opponents 30-9 and each of their goaltenders notched a shutout as they beat the Kansas City (Mo.) Stars, Northbrook, Winnetka (twice), Sabres, and the Atlanta (Ga), Fire in the Championship game. Congratulations Pee Wee CS Major Leafs! Congratulations also to Coach Chris Barone's Squirt A team, champions of the Great Lakes Tournament Series in Holland, Mich., on September 28. Finally, congratulations to coach Rob Marshall and his Squirt B team (below) on their second place finish in the Chicago Preseason Challenge on September 28.

Leafs squirt goalie Nate Roberts, a Carolina Hurricanes fan in the land of the Blackhawks, was recently featured in a story on The Hockey Show on the NHL Network. Nate traveled to Raleigh for a Hurricane's summer camp and received instruction from his favorite goalie, Cam Ward. Click here to see the story on Nate. |
Congratulations to Griffin Mason, a bantam skater with the Leafs, whose hockey poem "I Am" was published in the most recent issue of USA Hockey Magazine. If you missed it, Griffin's poem can be found here. Great job, Griffin!
