Casey Jorgensen joined USA Hockey’s staff in 2011 as its first general counsel. Prior to joining the staff, Jorgensen served on the USA Hockey Board of Directors as the inline hockey section director and on the USA Hockey Legal Council for 10 years. In private practice, Jorgensen worked for 12 years with Williams, Kastner & Gibbs, PLLC, a full-service firm based in Seattle

As general counsel, Jorgensen is responsible for managing all legal matters for USA Hockey, including advising USA Hockey and its officers, staff and volunteers on a variety of legal matters, including disciplinary and dispute resolution issues, USA Hockey governance, contractual matters, oversight of  USA Hockey’s SafeSport Program and monitoring and supervising litigation. Jorgensen also serves on the Legal Committee for the International Ice Hockey Federation.
