It took an extra meeting during the month of July, but AMHA Board Members finally approved the budget for the 2009-2010 season.  Although plans are in the works to increase the mandatory fundraising obligation, and despite another 5% increase in ice costs, division fees were held at the same levels as last year; with the exception of a $50 increase at the High School level. 

Across the board cuts in the budget, and an innovative approach to the mandatory fundraising obligation (coming soon) were needed in order to keep fees in check for the 2009-2010 season.  The most noteable cuts to the budget took place in the form of a one year freeze on jersey purchases, and the elimination of end of the year player gifts and coordinator allottments.
