People don’t think hockey first when Dallas, Texas, is mentioned. Football rules in that state – especially high school football – but thanks to teams like the 18 & Under Tier I Stars, hockey is becoming a force in football country.
After playing for the Philadelphia Little Flyers in the 2003 12 & Under Tier I National Championships, Adam Berkle is back as one of the leaders of the Atlantic District champion Valley Forge Minutemen for this year’s 18 & Under Tier I National Championships.
The players on the Mid Fairfield 18 & Under Tier I team have an extraordinary year to look back on. The whole roster played for one prep school, 10 players are committed to NCAA Division I programs and two are on NHL Central Scouting’s radar.
