2005 National Championship - Girls - 14U

While the Chicago Young Americans were confident they’d win on Sunday, a two-goal deficit with just over six minutes to play had them a little concerned. “I was worried,” CYA coach Andy Chomor said. “But we’ve played close to 80 games this year, and we’ve been in that position before.” CYA handled their latest deficit like champions, rallying for a 5-4 win in double overtime, topping the Connecticut Stars and winning USA Hockey's 14 & Under National Championship.
