After an evenly played first period, Shattuck-St. Mary’s took all of the suspense out of USA Hockey's Tier I 18 & Under National Championship game against the LA Selects Sunday. The two teams played to a 0-0 draw after 17 minutes, but Shattuck scored four goals in a 4:27 span in the second to grab an insurmountable lead. After that, Shattuck cruised to a 7-0 victory to capture the championship.
