For the second time in three days, the Mid-Fairfield Blues and the California Wave played in USA Hockey's Tier I 16 & Under National Championship tournament. For the second time, the game went into overtime. Also for the second time, Mid-Fairfield erased a third-period deficit and won in the extra session, claiming the 16 & Under title with a 4-3 victory Sunday.
