Carl Gray started the Assabet Valley youth program 30 years ago. Now, Gray gets the players started on their way through the nation's most successful girls' and women's hockey program. Gray is in his fourth season of coaching the 12-and-under team, which repeated its national title Sunday with a 9-1 romp over the Madison (Wisc.) Capitols.
