    After the start of the championship game had to be delayed to give the Utah Edge the required four-hour break following a triple-overtime win in the semifinals, the Utah team looked fresh for the final, where it finished strong for a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Elite and the 2008 USA Hockey Women's Senior C National Championship.
