    East Coast Wizards claim first National title after Tier I 12-U victory

    The St. Louis Lady Blues had comeback wins in nearly every game they won at the USA Hockey Tier I 12 & Under National Championship, and they almost did it again on Sunday. But in the end, the East Coast Wizards wouldn’t allow another remarkable comeback to happen.

    Girls’ Tier I Nationals in Green Bay a success on and off the ice

    The preliminaries are in the books and after the first three days of play there’s been parity in almost every bracket, everything has gone smoothly in administering the tournament and as a bonus to the hosts, three of the four Green Bay Bobcats teams have advanced to the quarterfinals.

    Tier I 12-U Buffalo Bisons get their kicks in winning New York District

    Before getting ready for a big game, most teams will go through stretching exercises, calisthenics and other related drills. The Tier I 12 & Under Buffalo Bisons team? These girls play kickball and it seems to be working. After their most recent game of kickball, the Bisons went on to win the USA Hockey New York District Tournament championship and punch their ticket to Green Bay, Wis., April 7-11 for the USA Hockey National Championship.

    The Green Bay Bobcats are hoping to do more than just roll out the welcome mat at this year’s USA Hockey Tier I girls’ National Championships, especially at the 12 & Under level.
