January 21, 2008 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Michigan received all 34 first-place votes for a total of 510 points to remain atop the USAToday/USA Hockey Magazine Men’s College Hockey Poll. Michigan, which was a unanimous No. 1 selection for the second consecutive week, swept then-No. 8 University of Notre Dame in a weekend series. Miami (Ohio) University (474) and Colorado College (444) remained at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. The University of North Dakota (378) jumped up three spots to No. 4, while Michigan State University (374) moved up one to the No. 5 position.
