Chicago Blackhawk President John McDonough to Deliver Keynote Address at NARCE 2008
STAR is pleased to announce that Chicago Blackhawk President John McDonough will give the Keynote Address at this year’s North American RINK Conference and Expo (NARCE).
After a successful and decorated 24 year career with the Chicago Cubs, most recently as their President, Mr. McDonough was named as the President of the Chicago Blackhawks in November of 2007.
During his tenure with the Cubs, Mr. McDonough was widely viewed as a sports marketing and management innovator. He has been credited with playing a major role in growing the Cubs’ fan base and attracting sponsorships for one of the most successful pro sports franchises in the country.
Along with his duties as Blackhawk President, Mr. McDonough is also on the NHL Club Business Advisory Board, and is a frequent lecturer at collegiate institutions such as the University of Chicago, Notre Dame University, and Marquette University.
Mr. McDonough’s experiences, as well as his new challenges with the Blackhawks, will provide professionals at NARCE with marketing and management insight from one of the brightest minds in the industry.
