Below are the schedules for all Panther teams based on the scheduling meetings.
The
Park District of Franklin Park Ice Arena invites you to participate in
the Panther Spring League–2012. The season will consist of practices, 8
games and the end of season tournament for Mites through Midgets.
All Panther teams will participate in the Northwest Hockey Spring League (NWHSL) which the staff from the Franklin Park Ice Arena will help manage. The Midgets will play games in the North Shore Spring High School League (NSSHL). Teams will be picked based on the rules and regulations of the fall Northwest Hockey League. The draft procedure will be utilized when more than one team exists at the same level. The season will consist of an eight game schedule, (home games at Franklin Park Ice Arena), ten practices and player evaluations. All teams will also participate in the end of season tournament. For your convenience, there will be no on games or practices on Memorial Day weekend. Please do not hesitate with your registration since space will be limited. Proof of USA Hockey insurance required by anyone who did not play for the Panthers in the 2011-2012 Fall/Winter season. Cost of insurance is $43. Please register between April 1-6.
A Body Contact and Conditioning Clinic will be held on Saturday, March 24. This clinic is open to all ages. Taking the priority off checking and playing better hockey is the focus. Our goal is improving the skill level and keeping kids playing more. Learning body positioning and moving the puck will help the kids development for the future.
Again this spring we will offer cross ice hockey for girls and beginner mites.
