• 20/10  14/10 Game Rule

Each team must have competed as a team unit in at least twenty (20) games for youth boys teams and at least fourteen (14) for Girls/Women’s teams.  Each player must have played in at least ten (10) games during the season.

For scoresheets to count in meeting the 20/10 (14/10 Girls/Women’s) rule, that team’s Player Roster form must be certified by the District Registrar or his/her designee prior to that game being played.

A game is a match played against another team which is registered with a member organization of the IIHF of the same competitive level and officiated by registered officials.  A game shall consist of at least three (3) periods (or the equivalent, see USA Hockey Annual Guide, Rules and Regulations, XI, Q. Time of Periods) except where the game is interrupted, (by some unforeseen event) after two (2) periods have been completed.

Refer to the 2005-06 USAH Annual Guide, page 186, (6) Number of Games for Eligibility,  for complete information.

Check each final scoresheet for the following:
    Date, Division is clearly written.
Scoresheet signed by referee and linesmen.
One roster label per each copy – 4 labels used per scoresheet.
    Scratch any player not participating.
Note any game suspensions being served – player name and number.
Beginning January 1, it is required that each coach be listed by Name, CEP Level, CEP Number, and the year their CEP level was attained.  Prior to the start of the game, all coaches present, from each team, are required to sign the designated area of the scoresheet in order to verify the accuracy of the playing roster, as it appears on the scoresheet, for that game.

Scoresheets are examined during the credentials process to comply with the 20/10,14/10 game rule.  Any of the above information not completed on the scoresheet can cause the game to be disqualified.
