Coach Registration
Be sure to claim (transmit) all players and coaches participating in your program. It's important to complete this step to ensure that all USA Hockey membership benefits are in place for your members AND to make sure that your program is credited with the correct number of players and coaches. Member counts for all local programs are tracked at the State, District and National level. It's important for your program to be counted correctly! Remember that every coach who is on the ice or bench for your program must be registered as a Coach through your software. A coach already registered as a player through your program or another program also needs to be claimed (transmitted) as a Coach. Please take a minute to review the registrations for your program. Open your Cyber Sport, click on Reports and choose Database Statistics - Personnel. This report will show you the total number of players and coaches transmitted through your program's software. Make sure your numbers are correct for your program. If you have questions or need help looking up confirmation numbers, please contact us. Additional Information About Online Registration
To participate in online registration, all you need is your Cyber Sport software to transmit or 'claim' online confirmation numbers so that you can create teams and rosters. Your program does NOT need to have a website to participate in online registration. However, for programs that are interested in an online registration process for collecting data and local program fees while also taking advantage of USA Hockey online registration, there are a number of options available for your consideration. USA Hockey provides a Confirmation Web Service to approved companies which allows them to integrate with the USA Hockey database to receive data from online registrations. Also, USA Hockey offers a Registration Management Tool (RMT) for local programs. This tool is provided to member programs at no charge. If you are considering an online registration process to collect your program registration and fees, we encourage you to use one of these options. Contact Eddie Olson at USA Hockey for information about the RMT. Other companies that are approved to use the Confirmation Web Service and may be contacting you are Active Sports for LeagueRegister, LeagueAthletics, TeamSportTech and GSYLabs. Again, using an online process to collect local program fees is optional and not required. Please note, USA Hockey Cyber Sport Registration software is always required for all programs.
