REG. & SEMINAR INFORMATION 2010-11 

The 2009-10 registration season begins on 8/2/10. On-line officiating registrations with USA Hockey will be accepted on 8/2/10 and thereafter. Make sure that a seminar is available before registering with USA Hockey.  Please note that some states in the Central District require a second, separate, registration with the state/local officials association/Affiliate in order to be eligible to officiate games in that state. Also that many local areas have a minimum age for officials.

Illinois -   The seminar registration season started on 8/2/10 in this state.You can check the officials associations website Illinois (IHOA) Seminar Link to register and see a listing of officiating seminar dates and locations that have been scheduled in this state. Please read all instructions and then click on the "Complete On-Line Registration" link to register.

Wisconsin -USA Hockey has been developing a national seminar registration system and the Wisconsin Hockey Officials Association (WHOA) will be the beta test site for this new system. USA Hockey is pleased to announce that the system is ready to use and registration for seminars in Wisconsin will begin August 2, 2010. 

 To register for your USA Hockey/WHOA Officiating Seminar, go to www.wihoa.org and click on the “Registration” button on the left side of the page. You will be guided through the entire registration process step by step. Please do not call or e-mail the USA Hockey office with questions regarding the Wisconsin seminar registration process!

Missouri - The seminar registration season started at on 8/2/10 in this state.  You can check  the officials associations website Missouri (MIH1OA) Seminar Link  (mihoa.org) to register and see a listing of officiating seminar dates and locations that have been scheduled in this state. You may also register by using the link at this site.

Iowa -This  season Iowa is using USA Hockey’s new Seminar Registration Tool. You must pre-register for the seminar you would like to attend. You can view Iowa’s seminars by going to  Search Seminars and using the search funtions. To learn how to log on and register for a seminar click on this link -How to Use the Seminar Registration Tool  Pre-registering will not only make the seminar more informative but also more comfortable for you. Also, creating a profile will allow you to check your officiating status online using the link in the upper-right corner of the main page. 

PLEASE NOTE: These are the only approved seminars in Iowa this year. There will be a Level 4 seminar in Iowa to be added later. If you are considering becoming a Level 4 do not register until this seminar is posted. You MUST attend the level seminar for which you registered.

Kansas - The seminar schedule for this state is being finalized.  Please contact the USA Hockey State Supervisor-of-Officials, Pat Feltman (pfeltman@kc.rr.com)  Check the Kansas City Official's Association website (KCOA Website Link) for information on attending Kansas City area seminars.There are plans for a seminar in Topeka probably in early October and a seminar in Wichita but there is no further information on both those potential dates.
