Ice skating and playing ice hockey are a great way to stay physically fit and have FUN! The Little Huskies Hockey Academy follows the curriculm of the U.S Figure Skating program in conjunction with U.S.A Hockey. The schedule includes classes for all skill levels ages 3 - Adult.
The Little Huskies Academy is the feeder program for the IIC House League.
Skating Levels
Parent Tot (Learn to Skate)
For skaters ages 3-5 with little or no skating experience. Learn to balance and skating skills in a fun enviornment. Parent or adult friend will accompany skater. Participating adults must be able to skate.
Snow Plow Sam 1
For skaters ages 3-5 with little or no skating expereince. Learn basic balance and skating skills. A fun introductory class in an age appropiate setting. Classes limited to 8 skaters.
Snow Plow Sam 2 - 3
For skaters ages 3 - 5 who have passed snow plow sam #1 or who have previously taken skating lessons. Participants will develop prelimianry coordination and strenght to maneuver on and around the ice.
Hockey 1 - 4
For all ages. Hockey level is for skaters who have passed Snow Plow Sam #3. Classes are designed to learn and develop skating skills necessary for playing hockey. Full hockey gear is optional for skaters.
In-HouseIntroduction to game play in a 5 on 5 format. Very affordable program for all ages. The program bridges the gap from Little Huskies Academy toTravel hockey.

Class Schedule
45 Minute Classes / 15 Minute Games
Skaters will meet at the colored boards on the ice, corresponding with the color on their name tag. Name tags will be located at the registration desk. Parents are not allowed on practice ice. Skaters must be able to skate on their own to utilize practice area. Skaters will be evaluated in week 5 of 6. They will be given an evaluation form which recommends which class to take next. Pre-registration priority is given to current skaters in the program. Pre paid skate rental is also available or you can pay as you go. Each skaters will recieve one FREE open skate pass to be us during the current session. Please be aware there is NO REFUND policy.
