The Hudson Valley Women's Empire State Games Ice Hockey Team competes at the New York Empire State Games in the Open Division each February in Lake Placid. Women (18 and older) who live in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties are eligible to tryout for the team. The 2012 Games were held Feb 3-5.
