The snow in Washington DC Saturday morning was not fun and made for a treacherous day. Having had the opportunity to drive Olympia and Zamboni ice resurfacing machines, I’ve developed a great respect for ice and snow. There were times when I lived in Auburn, New York that I would go out and get some driving experience in snow and it has come in handy over the years including on one trip for the AJHL a few years ago.
