  •  2 and 2 CHALLENGE

A Comprehensive Approach To Grow Your Program

The 2 and 2 Challenge is a call-to-action for local associations. It provides youth hockey leadership with resources to grow their programs by acquiring and retaining players in the 8 and under age groups.

By participating in the 2 and 2 Challenge, your program can realize two major achievements:

    1. You will drive participation in the 8 & under age group and ensure that your program will flourish at all age levels
    2. Your association can establish itself as the best youth sports option in your community.

To complete the 2 and 2 Challenge, committed associations will utilize programs that drive growth by retaining your players, acquiring new families and converting kids from Try Hockey events in to your programs.

  • Phone Call Retention

    BEST PRACTICES
    Phone Call Retention Plan

Each season over 15,000 kids stop playing youth hockey. Do you know how many of your hockey players are coming back? Every hockey association has turnover from one year to the next. Many families forget to sign up before the start of the season and do not return to hockey primarily because they figure that it is too late to play. Much of this loss can be reduced through a little extra follow-up; the most effective way is a personal phone call. Click here for the Phone Call Retention Plan.
