Four 14-Under teams were in line to finish undefeated in pool play at the 2009 Girls USA Hockey National Tournament presented by Easton and McDonald’s. Though they all won their games, only two (Assabet Valley and Mid Fairfield Connecticut Stars) did so in regulation time and thus earned the maximum nine points and first place in their respective pools.

Not only did all three of Shelley Looney’s New Jersey Colonials entrants, 12-and-under, 14-U and 16-U, advance to the USA Hockey National Tournament presented by Easton and McDonald’s, April 1-5 at the ESL Sports Center in Rochester, N.Y., but they did so without losing a game.
